There is no validation involved. Landrush opens at 15:00 GMT on February 3, 2009 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 23 March 2009. Pre-registration is happening now until February 3, 2009. Applications will only be accepted through ICANN accredited registrars. The cost is $375 US that includes a minimum three-year registration of the name. General Availability opens at 15:00 GMT on March 24, 2009. Pre-registration is happening now until March 24, 2009. The selection method is first-come, first-served. There is no validation involved. General Availability registrations will carry a one-year minimum term. Applications will only be accepted through ICANN accredited registrars. These cost $19.99 US which includes a one-year registration of the name.
